Brick

The Township of Brick is in the northern section of Ocean County and includes a section of land on the Barnegat Peninsula along with the large sector on the mainland. Just like many of the towns in Ocean County, Brick offers its residents numerous ways to enjoy the outdoors. There are a number of parks including the Brick Reservoir, the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife trail, and multiple beaches. Brick also includes many water-front properties as it includes land along the Manasquan River, the Metedeconk River, multiple lakes, and the Barnegat Bay among others.

If you’re not a nature buff, that’s okay!  Brick offers a wide variety of shopping options too if you prefer to spend some time indoors.  Stop by Brick Commons and you’ll find a handful of eateries as well as a few department stores like Old Navy and Kohls.  If you have any adrenaline junkies in the family, be sure to stop by Brick Plaza.   Not only does it have some of the best shopping in the town, it’s also home to Gravity Vault, the only indoor rock-climbing facility in Ocean County.  Their 35-foot-high walls will satisfy the most extreme thrill seekers!

Another great community benefit that Brick residents enjoy is the Brick Farmers Market. With over 50 vendors offering shoppers anything and everything from fresh-made bakery items, alcoholic beverages, body care items, and so much more. Located conveniently in the middle of town on Windward Beach, the farmers market gets fresh, locally grown and produced goodies to visitors beginning in May each year.
