The Township of Old Bridge is a large municipality north of Monroe Township on the east side of Middlesex County that covers just under 41-square miles. Many major roadways travel through town including the Garden State Parkway and Routes 9, 18, 34, and 35. The township also has a private airfield with multiple hangars, aircraft maintenance services, and a flight school. Both NJ Transit and Middlesex County Area Transit buses and shuttles provide service throughout the county and to places like Manhattan and Jersey City.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to try something new, Old Bridge is the place to go. In the southern section of town, you can enjoy car shows, motocross races, and Formula Drift events at Old Bridge Raceway Park. Other speed lovers can contact NJ ATV Rentals who offer groups, couples, and parties a fun day on the trails. Farther north in town is the ice rink where Old Bridge Jr. Knights Youth Hockey offer clinics and hold practices. Old Bridge also has some beautiful parks that make it easy for residents and visitors to savor the great outdoors. Cheesequake State Park offers walking trails, fishing, crabbing, and camping in the northern section of town near the Garden State Parkway and Cheesequake Creek. One of the first purchases of the Middlesex County Open Space and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund, the John A. Phillips Preserve was saved from development in 1997. The space was to be the site of thousands of housing units prior to being protected. Now, the park is home to ball fields, a playground, and multiple hiking and nature trails.
