Don’t mistake it for the larger Borough of the same name, because the Township of Shrewsbury has an identity all its own!
Shrewsbury Township doesn’t have a single major road passing through it, but that doesn’t mean you’re disconnected from the world. The Garden State Parkway is just a few miles away and Route 35 is within walking distance, making it easy to get where you need to go, whether for work or play. There are excellent job opportunities throughout the region, too, so you never need to go far.
There is no shortage of things to do near Shrewsbury. Head to the PNC Bank Arts Center for some of the hottest concert tours on the East Coast. Take a short drive up 35 and spend the day enjoying fine dining and boutique shopping in downtown Red Bank. Enjoy a day trip to New York City. Take in the horse races at Monmouth Park Racetrack. Or head to the shore and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Sea Bright, Long Branch and Sandy Hook. So much to do, so little time!
