Barnegat Light

The northernmost town on Long Beach Island is Barnegat Light. One of the most well-known things about Barnegat Light is Old Barney, the lighthouse located on the tip of the island. The lighthouse and surrounding area are part of the Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. Visitors can climb the lighthouse for an aerial view of the bay, birdwatch in the Maritime Forest Trail, fish along the bulkhead, and generally relax and enjoy the outdoors along the coast.
