Lake Como

Once known as South Belmar, the Borough of Lake Como truly has an identity of its own and in many ways is one of the overlooked gems of the Jersey Shore. Though it’s the 10th smallest town in New Jersey by size and has a population of under 2,000, Lake Como is big on good times, hosting fantastic shore attractions, popular nightclubs, and great places to eat.

Few Jersey Shore destinations are as popular and well-known as Bar Anticipation, aka Bar A, long one of the most lively hot spots in the region. If ocean views are more your thing, D’Jais is just a few blocks away, giving you a great place to unwind with friends right on the ocean. When you’re done, take in some sun on the town’s gorgeous beaches, take a walk up Main Street for some shopping, or stroll the quiet streets of nearby Spring Lake.

Lake Como is centrally located and easy to access from anywhere in the state! Route 195 provides excellent travel to and from Trenton and Philadelphia, Route 35 is a gateway to the entire Shore region, and the Garden State Parkway is just minutes away, making it effortless to take a day trip to New York, go shopping, take in a show at the PNC Bank Arts Center, and much more. That makes Lake Como a great place for vacationers and full-time residents alike!
