Piscataway

The fifth oldest municipality in the state, the Township of Piscataway has connections to the earliest settlements on the eastern seaboard. History lovers should take a trip to East Jersey Old Town Village to see how the community once lived. Close by is also the Cornelius Low House which was built in 1741 and is on the National Register of Historic Places as well as the Metlar-Bodine House Museum which dates back to 1728. Piscataway is bordered by nine other townships including Dunellen, Edison, Highland Park, Middlesex Borough, New Brunswick, and South Plainfield and is conveniently located approximately one hour away from both Philadelphia and New York City.
